Number LO

It's a mystery...You can't see it! I just finished my LO for the April Challenge on my board. The challenge was to do a LO that incorporated numbers. It was a fun one!

Happy Earth Day! (From the Scrappy Blog Hop Girls)

I know...I know...I am a bit early. But tomorrow will be a busy day for me, so I want to make sure this gets posted and honestly it is only about 3 hours early! In celebration of Earth Day, our Scrappy Blog Hop challenge was to create a LO using some type of recycled material. I used the chipboard backing from some embellies I bought to make the background for the "i heart 2 play" title. I love the wooden tree that I found at Michaels the other day! Of course, I inked it, matted, and added embellies but it is still recycled material and quite pretty I think with it's little green dots! Be sure to hop to Devon's blog for more Earth Day fun!

Not My RIse to The Challenge LO

I did two! This is the second one I did. I couldn't decide between them. Oh, well. This LO cracks me up. Rebecca put her Little People in time out for over two months! She would "check" on them and then close the door right back. Finally one day, Quincey from the Little Einsteins went into Time Out and the next day, everyone came out. Maybe he was on a rescue mission? Anyway, it cracked me up and I am glad I was able to preserve this funny memory through my journaling in the pocket!!!

I forgot to take a picture of my cow inchies...so pretend to see them here! And I can't post the REAL RTTC LO until later!

No Spend Challenge

My friend, Kim, started a No Spend Challenge on our board. Basically you have to commit to a certain number of layouts that you will do before you go shopping again. I have set my goal at 25 layouts. I may raise it, if I see that I am doing well!

2 More From Today...

I had hoped to get a lot done while on vacation, but that doesn't appear to be happening. Colleen sent me these cool cupcake embellies and I used them to lift her LO that she did! Not sure that was what she wanted me to do. Hehe! Here is a layout I did of Annie:

This one is a recipe LO for Brad's mom. She has to take it to a wedding shower where they are compiling a recipe book for the bride.

A LO for a friend

I did a LO swap for a board that I am on and this is what I came up with from my friend Colleen. I had a really hard time because of the primary colors, but in the end I was happy with it!

Rise to the Challenge Week 2

Well, I got 39/50 points. Last week I interpreted the rules too loosely and this week, I think I was too strict. I stayed with the same color scheme of the ad and everything, but no one else did! LOL. I have included both the ad and my lift.

I Can Finally Share This LO! - Rise to the Challenge Week One

I created this LO for the Rise to the Challenge contest on one of my boards. I got an overall score of 38/50. Not too bad. We were supposed to play Simon Says and evidently I stink at following the rules! LOL. It is so natural for me to include a title and journaling on my LO that I didn't even think about the fact that Simon didn't say it! Oh, well. I still love the LO.

A Day of Play LO and Shop 'Til You Drop

I love these pictures of Reba. I used a Shanna sketch for the first one and a Jodie sketch for the second. I still feel like it needs something, but until I find that something...

Another old page kit from Misty. I am trying to use them! Oh, and sketches from Day!

Almost Spring

One of my friends, Misty, sent me this wonderful page kit about a year and a half ago. I have been hoarding it for some time, but decided to use it tonight. I love how the bubble pictures of Reba turned out! I used a sketch from one of my favorite sites http://52sketches52weeks.com/.
Oh, and I completed another LO last night but can't post it yet. It is part of a challenge....so you will have to wait!

Scrappy Blog Hop

I am a member of a board with a wonderful group of ladies who love scrapping as much as I do. This group has been an important part of my life, especially since we have moved around some in the past few years. They give me a "constant" group of friends with whom to share my creativity and provide support in so many other ways.

Please hop on over to Devon's blog next to check out her creations!
