I made these for a family swap that I joined before Tyler was born. It wasn't my best idea ever to join a swap that was due days after his birth! Oh, well. They are done.

Scrap Therapy

So, waiting for baby #2 is making me pretty crabby. I decided tonight that I would do a more involved LO and see if that would help me out of my funk.  Here is what I came up with:

Summer Swap!

I am not sure why I signed up to make 29 swap items because I hate making swap items. Then, I rarely use them.  I think I might use the summer stuff though because I usually have a TON of summer pictures!  I had to make 9 titles, 10 journaling spots, and 10 anything goes (I decided on pinwheels).

I only did one tonight, but it is one that I have been putting off for a long time. Glad I finally did it!

Scrappy Blog Hop

It's that time again.  I haven't even scrapped anything in between the hops. That is sad!  I did like this one so much though that I did it twice.  Here is what I came up with:

Scrappy Blog Hop!

It's that time again! We are having our Scrappy Blog Hop!  This time our inspiration came from a pair of Gymboree jammies! 

As you can see, I took my inspiration fairly literal.  My pregnancy brain doesn't allow me to think very far out of the box these days!  Also, I love this blue polka dot paper by American Crafts and have been waiting to use it.

Stitching!!!!

Another Christmas LO done and I stitched on it. I am so proud of myself. I have the templates, but most of the time I am too lazy to pull them out! I love how the stitching looks though on LOs.

I stamped and I hand stitched!

I own more stamps and more stitching templates than I care to tell, but I did actually use them tonight.  It is a little hard to see the stamping on the journal tag because it is shiny, but it says "family."  Inside I journaled about how much my daughter adores her grandpa and why.

Every year, I try to document what Reba gets for Christmas. I know that I enjoy looking back in my baby book or at old pictures to see what I got!



Every year we leave cookies out for Santa on our special plate!



This year we went to Barnes and Noble to see Santa! He read The Polar Express to us! 



Rebecca and I love to cook/bake together. We are always looking for creative things to make like these snowmen cookies!

Woohoo!  This page is about the book, A Pirate's Night Before Christmas.

And this last page is one that Reba created. I helped her by cutting out the dolls using my Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge and then she did the rest! Then I asked her to tell me a story about the people and I journaled exactly what she said.  It was pretty funny!

Sweet as Pie

I participated in a one hour challenge tonight and this is what I created. It's a little hard to  tell that I did dry embossing on the right side of the page.

First LO's of the Year (Sad, I know!)

Well, we have moved into our new house and are adjusting to life in a new town. I would love to say that everything is unpacked, but it's not. However, for my own sanity, I had to return to scrapping. Since we are expecting a baby in May, we had to turn the extra bedroom into a nursery (rather than an office like we are accustomed to doing). So, I decided to put my scrap stuff in the closet. It is NOT completely organized yet, but this gives you an idea of what I have done so far.

As for LOs, I managed to get two done tonight before my back was just totally killing me.
