Isn't this frog banner just precious? I left it blank so I could add it to my etsy shop but I just might have to find a purpose for it in my house!

 

And I made yet another owl banner. I love the blue owls!

 

And I am trying very hard to scrapbook my kids! So here is Reba's first dentist trip.

 

My sister helped me with this sign. I was trying to decide what to put on it, and my sister came up with "Lots of Love." So pretty! I was excited about how it turned out!

2013 - The Year of Scrapping!

Did you get the memo? 2013 we are all going to get caught up on scrapping. At least I am going to try hard. I work a lot on my etsy shop and organizing crafts for my MOPs group which means that my crafts suffer. I can't promise the pictures here will be gorgeous or even edited, but I am going to try hard to post

 

I was inspired by a 2 page LO to do this one of Tyler.

 

 

I created this Valentine's Day banner for my shop and the other is a custom order.

 

 

 

And the craft that I did with my Mothers of Preschoolers Group.  Jenga keychains. Google it. There are like 9 million tutorials out there!

I just got this book today in the e-book format and oh my goodness! I am in love! Not only do you get the sketches, but you get examples of layouts that were inspired by the sketches too! It is awesome! I would highly recommend stopping by Creative Scrappers and picking up your copy today!

Time Out Bench

This is my newest creation! I seriously think I need a crafting intervention or something. I am on a roll. I feel like painting, modge podging and scrapbooking the world.


Anyway this time out stool is my newest attempt at crafting more. When I saw this stool in A.C. Moore it was calling out to me. It said "I want a dinosaur and the words 'time out.'" I swear. I heard it.

It actually kind of turned out too cute for time out, I think. I added it to my Etsy shop if anyone is interested.

Valentine's Signs and An It's A Boy Sign

I have been busy making signs!  I made two Valentine's Day signs today and an "It's a Boy" sign.  Don't get excited...I added that one to my Etsy Shop!  I love my little boy, but he keeps me too busy to have another one around!

This is the one I made for myself.

And the baby boy sign that you ARE NOT getting excited about because I am not pregnant. I made it for my Etsy shop!

Some New Cards

I didn't really have anything in mind when I decided to create these two cards.  I was basically playing around because I was in a crabby mood.  Scrapbooking is like therapy for me, and so by the time I finished these two cards I was feeling better!  If you are interested in them, they are listed in my Etsy store!

Amazing Grace Framed Creation

A while back I obtained a couple of old hymnals. My mom loves old hymns, and so I immediately knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to frame the hymn "Amazing Grace" for her. I had hoped to get it done for Christmas but it just didn't happen since I was busy working on her Granny Sign.
Anyway, I gathered some scrapbook paper, flowers, ribbon, and ink, and got to work! I distressed the edges of the hymn with my distresser and some ink. I framed it in a silver frame so it would match the other items in her home. I hope she likes it!

First Post of 2012 - Breakfast with Santa

Reba's kindergarten class had breakfast with Santa this year.  I decided to go ahead and scrap these pictures because I love them, especially the one on the right where you can't really see her face but she is obviously talking to Santa. 

I signed up for a Christmas swap where we each sent each other a gift. This turned out to be a really good thing because I didn't get a single scrapbook related item for Christmas. I think this was a first! 

When I got the Wonder and Wishes by Little Yellow Bicycle papers and embellishments from my friend. These are so cool and I couldn't wait to use them!

Using My Scrapping Skills to Make Lunch Box Love Notes!

If you follow my other blog you may know that I make fun lunches for my daughter.  Recently I did a Make Your Own Pick Challenge over at Bento Blog Network.  It inspired me to make some lunch box love notes for my daughter. She liked that I wrote "Mommy Loves You" on the one that I made before, especially since it was something that she could read.

Since I was already making them, I added two sets to my etsy shop!

I have been wanting to make one of these ever since I saw them being made last year.  I didn't have enough time last year, but this year I pulled it off. I may only have a couple more days before it is time to use it, but it only took one night.

A Kindergarten Scrapbook Page!

I am trying to get back into the swing of things! Hopefully I will be scrapping more and more.  I decided to blur the journaling just to protect my daughter's privacy.  I really like this LO. One of the main reasons that I wanted to use the bingo card was so that I could highlight the 5, since that is how old she is!  Also, I have been in a bit of a creative slump so the last few layouts that I have done have been totally without inspiration from anywhere (no lifts, no sketches, etc.). Sometimes I think I am more creative when I branch out and use my own brain. Imagine that!

I am doing a challenge with some friends and our first challenge was to create a page about our typical subject for scrapbooking. Well, here it is! My life is consumed right now by being a mother and wife.  I wouldn't have it any other way!
