Rise to the Challenge Week 2

Well, I got 39/50 points. Last week I interpreted the rules too loosely and this week, I think I was too strict. I stayed with the same color scheme of the ad and everything, but no one else did! LOL. I have included both the ad and my lift.

New Swap Items

Totals for the Year: 38 Layouts, 5 swaps completed (54 actual swap items), a chipboard album, and 6 cards!

I Can Finally Share This LO! - Rise to the Challenge Week One

I created this LO for the Rise to the Challenge contest on one of my boards. I got an overall score of 38/50. Not too bad. We were supposed to play Simon Says and evidently I stink at following the rules! LOL. It is so natural for me to include a title and journaling on my LO that I didn't even think about the fact that Simon didn't say it! Oh, well. I still love the LO.

Totals for the Year: 38 Layouts, 3 swaps completed (28 actual swap items), a chipboard album, and 6 cards!

A Day of Play LO and Shop 'Til You Drop

I love these pictures of Reba. I used a Shanna sketch for the first one and a Jodie sketch for the second. I still feel like it needs something, but until I find that something...

Another old page kit from Misty. I am trying to use them! Oh, and sketches from Day!

Totals for the Year: 37 Layouts, 3 swaps completed (28 actual swap items), a chipboard album, and 6 cards!

Check Out Day's Blog Candy...and her sketches while you are at it!

Day has excellent sketches on her blog if you haven't already checked them out. If you love scrapping multiple pictures, she has you covered. She is giving away some blog candy, which you see pictured above. Check out her blog and make a comment to enter!

Almost Spring

One of my friends, Misty, sent me this wonderful page kit about a year and a half ago. I have been hoarding it for some time, but decided to use it tonight. I love how the bubble pictures of Reba turned out! I used a sketch from one of my favorite sites http://52sketches52weeks.com/.
Oh, and I completed another LO last night but can't post it yet. It is part of a challenge....so you will have to wait!

Totals for the Year: 33 Layouts, 3 swaps completed (28 actual swap items), a chipboard album, and 6 cards!

Scrappy Blog Hop

I am a member of a board with a wonderful group of ladies who love scrapping as much as I do. This group has been an important part of my life, especially since we have moved around some in the past few years. They give me a "constant" group of friends with whom to share my creativity and provide support in so many other ways.

Please hop on over to Devon's blog next to check out her creations!
